UG Examination System of the Institution

Since, the college is a Govt. Sponsored college under the affiliation of Vidyasagar University and UG curriculum of the institution is introduced as per the curriculum of the mother university; the examination system with schedule is provided and controlled by the university as per annual and semester (half yearly) basis. The examination system and pattern for Old Syllabus has been running as per annual basis throughout the session whereas most of the examinations are conducted in between March and June. On the other hand, the examination system and pattern for New Syllabus has been running as per Half Yearly CBCS Semester basis throughout the session whereas first half yearly semester examinations are conducted in between November and December and second half yearly semester examinations are conducted in between May and June. The practical examinations for Honours and General courses are organized as per university schedule before at least one week of the beginning of Theory Examination.

This should be notified that the institution is acted in the role of examination centre/ venue for UG examination authorized by the university and all of examination is conducted and managed by the UG Examination Cell and supervised by TIC/ Principal as the Centre-in-charge, Controller of Examination and temporarily engaged Supervisors. All the invigilators are appointed from the college who are generally the teachers of this college. Along with the examination conduction and management, the institution is also played in the role of Nodal Centre for the evaluation of answer scripts of different UG examinations under the supervision of Nodal Officer who is the Principal or Teacher-in-charge of the college.

The 1 ^st Internal Assessments for UG Honours and General Courses are conducted within 8-weeks from the class commencement whereas 2 ^nd Internal Assessment are conducted within 16-weeks.

The Internal Assessments for PG Courses are conducted in November for 1 ^st and 3 ^rd Semester and in May for 2 ^nd and 4 ^th Semester.
