The NSS Units of the College organise the special camps primarily during the winter season. These camps generally are a seven days programme where the students in the NSS Units are engaged in disseminating different awareness activities in the adjoining villages around the college. These camps start from the morning and end in the evening each day. Students along with the NSS Programme Officers go around the villages, meet with the villagers and try to make them aware of different social issues and hygiene related matter. They also hold small discussions with the villagers to make them realise the importance of child education, especially of the girl child, cleanliness, the evils of pollution, child marriage and the likes. The goal behind the organization of the special camps is to better the lives of the uneducated and poor people around the college.
